JULY IS HERE
Happy Hari Raya to everyone celebrating! :) We have a lot of pineapple tarts in the kitchen and on the dining table because of everyone who gave us cookies when we visited their house. And as usual my dad let me pick what i want, AND AS USUAL, i'll pick the pineapple tarts because those are my favorites!
I went to an island the day before raya with some friends. We went to Manukan Island (Pulau Manukan) and we spent the entire afternoon there, and I got me a little bit of a tan. We had to use a boat to get there ( o b v i o u s l y ) but I haven't been on a boat in soooo long, and it was so nice! I want to own a boat haha. Views from the middle of the sea are great :) love being on water and in water, we spent so long just soaking in the sea while we were at the island, i felt like a semi-mermaid. I wish i brought a floater tho, that way I could've soaked for longer without the fear of being pulled away by the waves. Waves are scary btw. They kept pulling me then pushing me. BUT OVERALL the island was great, islands and beaches should be visited EVERYDAY!!! Can't wait to see all the other islands KK has to offer :)
I'm so hyped for July, I'm gonna make it a good month. In fact I'm going to try to make the following weeks as good as this week ( this week being the first week of July ). We went to a lot of new restaurants and I had equal amount of dinners with friends and family (and andai). Its always good to feel some kind of balance in your life. So yeah, my aim is to keep the momentum and the balance because it's been keeping things lit af.
Hope everyone had a great beginning to their July as well! x
