GoodVibesFestival 2016 ( #GVF2016 )

I WENT FOR MY FIRST MUSIC FESTIVAL! It was such a good experience :) two nights full of live music and good vibes. I was so happy I didn't even feel tired until it was over and I came back down ( not from the high but literally came back down because the fest was wayyy up in the hills). 

Okay so first of all the venue. Good Vibes Fest 2016 was at this like field area near the parking lot of the lower skyway station @ Genting Highlands. The venue was okay la i have no complains or anything. I like how we were so far away from everything, and there were trees around the festival area so it was nice. It was grassy and i'm so happy it didn't rain cus if it did it wouldve been muddy af and that wouldve been messy. Theres nothing much to say about the venue i guess bcs its Genting and its a tourist destination so yeah.

The lineup was the main reason I bought the tix, The 1975, Two Door Cinema Club, The Temper Trap, Alina Baraz, Angus and Julia Stone and Disclosure! these were the acts i was most excited for and I got to watch all of them except TDCC, well i watched a few songs by them but then i left cus i was super hungry and tired BUT THOSE FEW SONGS WERE GOOD. great performers la. I also picked up a few new favorites haha like Tokyo Police Club they were good and im surprised i've never heard anything by them until that night haha im lame af. All the acts were pretty good none were terrible or anything heh. And the festival had this place called electric fields, on the first night quady dragged me in during DangerDisko and it was litttt. Electric fields was fun! But my favorite set was disclosure la, they ended goodvibes so good so so so soooooooo good. Wasn't even that big of a fan but then their closing set was just ugh it exceeded all my expectations like ya i thought theyd be cool but omg they were better haha hype 

So you might be wondering why the hexk did i skip TDCC just because i was hungry, lemme tell u about the food inside the festival area. it ran out. the food ran out. It was a pretty small festival but then the food just wasn't enough! they probably didn't have enough vendors? or the vendors didn't think theyd be much people but yeah, they kept running out of food. I didn't even get to try all the diff vendors and there were like 5 food vendors? i only had ice cream on the first night and on the second night i had pie cus i lined up for the pie like FIVE times on the first night but they kept putting up the "sold out" sign whenever i came close to the counter it was sooooooooooo frustrating. And water was like 10myr lol not allowed to bring outside fnb into festival grounds. But when i got the pie it was damn good. A Pie Thing thats the name, so good :O lol just realized i didn't even take a pic of the pie!! it was glorious !! in fact i didn't take a lot of pics during the fest too busy enjoying everything 

Conclusion, it was fun.
